This book is getting so much more tense! Astrid got caught at Olivia's house by Marvel. Marvel doesn't like Olivia because she thinks she is a "whore". Olivia left to England for a few days and Astrid got very angry at her. Once she came back, Astrid went to her house while she was drunk. She then drank some more with Olivia and fell asleep at her house. The next morning, Marvel was looking for Astrid. She looked out the window and saw her walking out of Olivia's house.

Astrid got scared and ran into Olivia's garden. She thought that Marvel wouldn't see her, but she was wrong. The minute Marvel saw Astrid, she literally freaked out. She started cursing, and Astrid just couldn't do anything about it. Astrid was then beaten by Marvel, and the next day sent to a different foster home. She doesn't like the new foster home and just wants to be back with her mother at her own house.

I think that if it wasn't for Astrid's mother to make such a stupid mistake, she wouldn't be involved in so much. I mean, everyone makes mistakes, but you have to be careful. Astrid's mother is in jail for life, and it's been at least 3 or 4 years since she has seen her own mother. Astrid goes through so much pain, and all she gets every time it happens is a letter from her mother. She just wishes that she could hear her own mother's voice say those words to her every single day of her life. She misses her. Everyone would have reacted the same way. But Astrid has also made many mistakes ever since her mother has left her. She met Olivia. "The town whore". Astrid got very close to her and accidentally followed into her foot steps and did the wrong thing, just for some marijuana. She also turned into an alcoholic at a very young age. Just like Olivia did.
